- Touring ram - Odabir pravog rama

Dajte mi predlog koji su ramovi dobri za ovako nesto,nesto sto je izdrzljivo.Ram za tocak od 26 cola i zanima me samo V-brake kocioni sistem jer je jednostavan za odrzavanje na samom putovanju.
Zelim takodje da ima prednju suspenziju a da mogu da stavim prednju korpu za prednje bisage tako da i to mi je potrebno da cujem misljenja sta preporucujete...Mehaniku planiram full XT da stavim dajte i za ovo neku rec sta mislite...

E, ovo je zanimljivo pitanje . Ja sam bio ubeđen da garancija na Trek važi do kraja vlasnikovog života, jer je u suprotnom besmislena - modeli se pojavljuju i nestaju. Bilo bi lepo da nam neki trgovac to rastumači...Kakve veze ima sto ima dozivotnu garanciju kada mu je zivotni vek istekao, tj. vise se ne proizvodi .
"Dozivotna garancija" znaci da proizvod ima garanciju sve dok se isti proizvodi. Kada proizvodnja prestane prestaje i garancija.

U pravu je kolega Zare, Lifetime Warranty se odnosi na životni vek proizvoda, kada porizvod prestane da se proizvodi, prestaje da važi i garancija. Još jedna milozvučna marketinška začkoljica...

Ipak sa druge strane mane su mu sto je znacajno tezi od aluminijuma (sto se u voznji da se ne lazemo oseca, pogotovo kad se natovaris), a i zbor takvih ramova kod nas je nikakav.
Moj predlog je uzeti neki klasik mtb, samo da nije ultralagan (jer takvi ramovi se lako ulubljuju), na koji moze i da se stavi 28" tocak, koji ima mogucnost i za disk i v-brake kacenje i koji je malo veci, jer ce se koristiti kao touring masina.
Licno sam uzeo 21" za taj touring set-up, a vozim 19" regularno znaci za XC. Mislim da je to pravi izbor jer si mnogo manje u race poziciji.
E sad ovo je moje skromno misljenje posto ja nemam neko iskustvo kada je ozbiljan touring u pitanju, ali sa druge strane kad sam pravio masinu (nije jos skroz zavrsena) sam dosta iztrazivao, i vidio da ljudi koji budze mtb da tako kazem voze slicne set-upe.
Ukratko moj set-up se bazira na disk kocnicama, full xt je oprema (ne kazem da ne moze nesto i losije, ali ovo pouzdano dobro radi, plus je prihvatljive tezine), sajbne su za treking, aerobar (znaci mnogo), vila je sid (stari model), koji radi prihvatljivo, smp sjediste (mada imam zelju i brooks da probam). Mislim da je pametnije ici sa tvrdom vilom, osim ako se ne planiraju i off-road ekskurzije...

Premda znam na sta si mislio cisto da napomenem da ovo nije 100% tacno:
Za bisage ce svaki MTB ram vrsiti posao
Vecina fulasa i race hardtail ramova, nemaju mogucnost za kasenje tregera, osim ako ne racunamo onaj koji se kaci na sticnu.

1. Steel is very strong. High-quality steel has a very high yield strength or elastic range (the point at which it bends permanently rather than bends back to its original shape) making it durable and less likely to bend in a crash. This means that steel tubes can be thin, with a small diameter, making steel frames light and sufficiently flexible. As people like to say: 'steel is real'.
2. Steel has a long life. When I visited Argos Cycles, a well-established frame-building workshop on an industrial estate in Bristol, I was shown several dozen steel frames dating back to World War II. There were frames made by some of the great names, such as Hetchins and A. S. Gillott, hanging on the wall, awaiting restoration work. They were about to be realigned, shot-blasted, rubbed down, primed and resprayed. Further along the wall there were several fully restored, gleaming frames waiting to be collected. They looked brand new. 'Years of riding left in them,' Mark, the workshop manager, told me. 'We have a near constant supply of steel frames in for restoration. Many are over fifty years old. A carbon frame simply won't last anything like that long.'
3. Steel is not prone to sudden failure: despite recent advances, carbon still is.
4. Steel is also easily repairable: aluminium, carbon and titanium are not. In fact, a small crack in the chain stay on a carbon frame often means the whole frame is destined for the bin. Crucially, steel can be repaired anywhere in the world by a man with a blowtorch and a welding rod. I know this, because I bent a steel bike in northern India, when I was riding around the world. I was slipstreaming a tractor on the Grand Trunk Road near Amritsar. We were going downhill at a lick when I rode into a pothole the size of a hot tub. There was no time to react. I had what American mountain bikers call a 'yard sale'. The bike, panniers, sunglasses, water bottles, tent, pump, map and I were strewn across the tarmac. I lost a lot of skin but the bike took the brunt of it: the top tube and the down tube were both bent, leaving the front wheel shunted backwards, rubbing against the underside of the down tube. I wondered if my round-the-world ride was over. It took me an afternoon to find the best mechanic, or 'top foreman' as the locals called him, in Amritsar. Expertly, he removed the handlebars, the stem, the forks and the stressed headset from the head tube, while attendants handed him tools as a nurse attends a surgeon. Then he shoved a metal spike through the head tube and literally bashed the tubes straight again. It was terrifying to watch. Thirty minutes later, he'd reassembled the bike. The job cost me 100 rupees (about $2.25) and a packet of smokes. I still had 7,500 miles to go to reach home. The two bent tubes had to be welded again in Gilgit, Tashkent and then Meshad, in Iran, but I did get home, on the same bike. The bare frame, still bearing the wounds, is on the wall in my shed. For years after my return, I was reluctant to take the frame back to the frame-builder, Roberts Cycles. The marks left by the Iranian welder were heinous. When I eventually did go back, I explained to Chas Roberts what had happened. He was delighted. He thrust me into the retail part of the shop where two men were about to wheel away their brand-new expedition touring bikes... one to cross America, the other to circumnavigate Australia. 'Here,' Chas said, 'listen to Rob's story. This is why you've bought steel frames.'

Visok sam 179 cm i trenutno vozim KTM TREKING LIFE SPEED velicine 51 cm sa tockovima od 28 cola a ovaj koji zelim da napakujem zelim da bude 26 cola i samo me V-brake kocnice zanimajuPo meni ako ces samo voziti a ne divljati,uzmi prvi ram koji ti se svidja.Za bisage ce svaki MTB ram vrsiti posao.Koja ti velicina treba pa da ti preporucimo nesto.

Planiram po Aziji neke voznje i to je razlog zasto jer cu verovatno dobar deo puta imati po makadamu ili tako nekom putu...Po meni ako ces samo voziti a ne divljati,uzmi prvi ram

Kakve to veze ima? Pa neces voziti drumasa,, nego trekker/touring bike, sta li vec. 28-ca je way to go za duge pruge.
